Erbil: On 4/8/2013, Mr.Nigran Harutunyan ,the deputy minister of trade of Armenian Government made a second visit to Kurdistan Region and Erbil Chamber of Commerce ,welcomed by Mr.Soran Abubakir Azizi the deputy president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce .
. Mr.Aziz welcomed the delegation and said ,expanding relations between side will happen through exchanging visits of trade delegations .
Then Mr.Azizi talked about the characteristic of Kurdistan Region ,having a good weather ,land ,resources which are not coexisted in many places in the world.
" We would like Armenian Companies to open their branches in Kurdistan Region ,there is a supportive law for them ,now the number of foreign companies reached 2500."
Aziz said.
Mr.Harutunyan said " This is the second visit to me to Erbil ,I view Erbil as Dubai , The life of the people in Kurdistan Region is in a continues Change ."
Mentioned" The relation between Kurdistan Region and Armenia in progress , Armenia will open its Consulate in Erbil in a near future , a wide economic conference will be held in Yerevan in October ."
He invited the President and the members of Chamber of commerce to this conference ."
The both sides were in accord to the direct airline between Erbil Yerevan Should be opened , the obstacle on way of the mutual trade relations should be vanished .
Erbil: On 07/28/2013 at the headquarters of the Erbil Chamber, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Kurdistan Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the (LCT center).
This Memorandum was signed in a ceremony by Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat, Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Alan Spink, director of the (LCT) British Center.
According this memorandum traders and businessmen and through the chambers of commerce can participate in courses will be held at the mentioned center in several fields, both in the region or requires travel to Britain.
It is worth mentioning that the LCT resides training courses in the areas of (advanced management, business banking and remittances, Combating corruption and fraud, recovery after the crisis, human resource management, procedures management, public relations, technical training in the fields of oil and gas) and other areas.
Previously, during a meeting with Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat at the headquarters of the Chamber , the British Council envoy expressed willingness to train employees in the institutions of the Kurdistan Region.
