Erbil: On 4/5/2014,Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat ,the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce ,received a trade delegation ,of the owners of furniture and apparel factories  from Turkish Istanbul city  .

The delegation was headed by Mr.Ahmed Bazici ,the member of board of directors ,of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce ,they came to Kurdistan To study the situation of the market . and the desire of clients in the region .

Mr.Khayat welcomed them warmly ,and asked them to open their branch I Erbil ,to outreach with the clients in Kurdistan Erbil.

Erbil: On 28/4/2014 , Mr.Soran Abu bakir Azizi , deputy president of the Chamber ,Received a trade delegation from Mardin city –Turkey , headed by the deputy governor of the Chamber , and the membership of the head of commercial and industrial council of the CITY ,and a number of owners of businesses in the city.

The visit aimed at study of the situation of Kurdistan Market , paving the way to enter the market .

Mr.Aziz welcomed the delegation ,and expressed the readiness of the Chamber to support them ,the head of the delegation ,invited the president and the members of board of directors of the Chamber ,to attend the exhibition ofagricultural equipment and animal products and food ,which will be held in the city of Mardin-Turkey  in (8-11/5/2014).  

Erbil: On 20/4/2014 ,  The signing ceremony of a memorandum of understandingbetween Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry  and Kizl Tepe Chamber of Commerce  took place,at the Erbil Chamber s office in Erbil .

The ceremony  was  attended by Mr. Soran Abu Bakr Aziz, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber ,and a number of members of the Board of Directors of the chamber ,also a number from   the Turkish side, Mr. Mahmoud Donders'Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of  Kizl Tepe  ,who was attended the ceremony with a number of members of the visiting delegation, said he waspleased that  the parties to  sign this Agreement wish to be a step forward in order to expand trade relations between the region and Turkey.

Erbil: On 15/4/2014 ,Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president of  Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , welcomed Mr.Basim Salim ,the director of Capital Bank ,who visited  the Chamber ,in order to discuss, how to expand cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, described the Chamber ,as the institution that plays a pivotal role in the revitalization of trade relations between the economic sectors of Kurdistan.

The director asked the president of the chamber ,to invite them to the events that  are usually  organized by the Chamber, Who supported his point of view inareas that serve the commercial interests of the Region  asking him to expand the size of loans and reduce rates of interest, in order to serve the interests ofthe bank and the borrower, also expressed regret of the  lack of private banksoperating  in the Region, that  doesn't fit with the size of the economy and trade exchange based in the region.

Erbil :On 15/4/2014 The  British the Economist magazine has interviewed Mr.Dara Jalil khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce, over the activities of the Chamber ,and its  role locally ,regionally  and  internationally  .

The Magazine asked many internal issues of the Chamber  ,and interpretation about the number of members the registered members ,its role in the developmental movement based currently in the region .

He also pointed to a number of memorandums of understanding signed between the Chamber  and the Federation  and their counterparts from the countries of the region and the world ,that brought positive results, towards strengthening trade relations ,between the Kurdistan Region and many countries of the world including the initiative of the  Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and Gaziantep, Turkey, which they  opened a branch in Erbil, in order to build better trade and economic relations between the region and the world.

Erbil :On 14/4/2014 , Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce met with Mr. Ahmed Sayar   the president of Amed Chamber of Commerce –Turkey , the meeting was held in Attendance of Mr. Soran Abu bakir Aziz the deputy president of the Chamber and a number of board of directors.

The meeting aimed at the promotion of commercial relations between sides ,hoped the relations to raise to reach the required level consistent to the volume of trade between Kurdistan and Turkey .  

Erbil On 14/4/2014, Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , received in his office in Erbil , A Bulgarian Commercial  Delegation was headed by ,Mr.Krasin Demitrov  the deputy of the minister of trade and energy of Bulgarian government ,Mr.Yanko Yanive the head of Haskovo city chamber of commerce , Mr.Wasivito Slav Stkwev , the deputy of Detrovkar city governor .The president of the Chamber welcomed warmly the guest delegation , and hoped for them a pleasant stay in Erbil ,indicating to the importance of Kurdistan  regional position , and the back way links between Kurdistan and Bulgaria.

Then talked about the developmental situation of Kurdistan at all the levels ,hoped to Bulgaria to have it is stamp on this development in the future ,especially Bulgaria is close to Kurdistan Geographically ,and can be a trade  gate for  Kurdistan .

The president of the Chamber focused on the natural resources of Kurdistan Region and the  strategies of Kurdistan Government ,which is to support commercial relation with all global countries, which  can lead Kurdistan Toward more development .

Said Bulgaria must open a consulate in Erbil ,and opening airline trips between Kurdistan and Bulgaria   will lead the sides toward both solid trade relations .

Then  referred to the going on  economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Iraq and the jointure of  his state to the European Union in 2007 ,the number of Bulgarian companies operating in the region, which reached r ten companies, hoped  the number to be  increased in the future by opening a consulate and joint airline ,stressing that Bulgaria can contribute to the development occurring  in Kurdistan in the fields of agriculture, tourism and energy.

Erbil: On 9/4/2014 ,Ghazi Aintab  Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened a Branch in Erbil ,to promote  trade and commercial ties with Kurdistan Region.

Mr.Sinan Chalabi The minister of trade of Kurdistan Regional government ,attended the ceremony and made a speech ,hailed the solid commercial ties between Kurdistan Region and Turkey ,then indicated to the scale of mutual trade ,which has reached 8 milliard $,mean while with  the  whole  rest of Iraq has reached 4 milliard $,hoped to the chamber achiving their goals and success ,to serve the economies of the both countries.

Mr .Dara Jalil Khayat , the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and industry ,Mr.Ayoub Partic the president of Ghazi Aintab chamber , a number of board od directors of the both Chamber and a number of businessmen attended the ceremony .Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat endorsed the importance of the event , hoped this step achieve the required goals to serve the economies of both countries ,indicated to the readiness of the Federation of Kurdistan Chamber to support the guest Chamber to reach what they  are looking for .Then Mr.Ayuob ,talked about the event , said this is the first step toward the promotion of the commercial links between the sides , and hoped the opening of Gazi Aintab s branch in the other cities of Kurdistan Region And Iraq , in the end of the event many bilateral meetings between thef business interests  held between the both sides.
