Erbil: On 2June ,2014 , Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized , Tunisian - Kurdistan Business Forum at  Erbil International Hotel , in Corporation with ,Tunisian embassy in Baghdad ,and Tunisian center for raising imports.

A  bilateral meetings werehelds between major Kurdistan Region companies and Tunisian counterparts ,specialists in the areas of agriculture and agricultural machinery - materials Food - Engineering & Construction and Reconstruction - building materials, sanitary ware and wood - electrical material (transformer - generator - electric motor - cables - switches and circuit and  breakers - luminescent) - mechanical industries and mineral - medicines and materials semi pharmacy and health services - tourism - oil and gas - higher education, communication and International trade.

The opening of air route between the Kurdistan Region and Tunisia also is a new development in the relation of Kurdistan and Tunisia, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry  has commented l on this important event, saying that this event is the result of previous business meetings took place between a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a number of owners of the commercial interests ,with Economists ,officials and owners of Tunisian companies through several visits to achieve the goal, as he also said: that we are counting on this gathering , which would boost trade and economic relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Tunisia, especially after the opening of the fly line, which will connect the region with African countries.

Erbil: On 26/05/2014, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat  President of Erbil chamber of Commerce and Industry  ,participated in ,in Erbil International Fair for  health and medical needs .

The Fair has been held ,with the participation of 220 companies from 19 countries. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr.  Rekawt Hama Rachid, Minister of Health of KRG ,  in the presence of Mr. Safin Dzayyi the  spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government, and Mr. Nawzad Hadi, Governor of Erbil and a number of heads of diplomatic missions , consulates of  Arab and foreign countries in the Region , and a  collection of people and representatives , relevant  to medical matters, in a word made by  ,Mr. Minister  of health ,welcomed Messrs. attendance and those who  organized  this The exhibition, considering it an important event in the medical field and called for doctors and pharmacists to see the exhibits and take advantage of the globally evolution in the medical field, and within the program there is a medical research presented and discussed ,the benefit of researchers and stakeholders in the medical field, and the exhibition run for three days

SulaimanyaH: On 21 May 2014 , Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat , the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,attended the Iranian Private Exhibition in Sulaimanyah ,which was held by Sulaimanyah Chamber of Commerce in corporation ,with Iranian Mazandaran city Chamber of Commerce .

110 different Iranian companies , in the operating in the fields of industry ,agriculture , food  displayed their products in the exhibition.

Speeches made by the officials attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition ,Mr.Khayat gave a speech ,welcomed the guests ,and said , this event is encouraging the companies to pave the way for their products to be sold in the region , asked the participating companies to open their branches in Kurdistan Region ,and holding such kind of exhibitions ,in all the provinces of Kurdistan Region .

Erbil : on 21/05/2014, International Lazurdi company for  Jewelry , held at hotel Divan  in Erbil an exhibition of jewelry , the company offered 199 species of formulated gold from a 21-gauge ,taken style from Kurd and the Gulf folklore , a big number of  jewelers , local guests and those interested in jewelry attended the event, worth mentioning that this company is considered one of the major companies for jewelries   in the Middle East.

The exhibition is organized by Mr. Saad Jalal director of  Suisse Cold jewelry, and on this occasion, Mr. Luqman Aziz Rahim, president of the jewelers Association  in the Region , was welcomed to those who hold this exhibition and considered it a step towards encouraging local goldsmiths to develop their products according to the required tastes, and the company's intention to open a branch in Erbil,  which the fourth in the Middle East.
