Erbil :On  24-25/2/2014, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat  the President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber participated in  trade and economic cooperation Forum   , which was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Erbil .

The Forum  was attended by the Kurdistan owners of commercial interests and Japanese who are  working in the office of the commercial interests of Japan in Dubai and Istanbul , headed by Mr. Yuji Fukui head of the  office , and a number of experts in the field of economic and trade in the Regional  Government , also Dr. Sinan Chalabi, Minister of Trade and Industry in the Regional government and Mr. Cazioa Nascida Japanese ambassador to Iraq were  attended the forum, Mr. President of the Chamber has delivered a speech  , in addition to the speech  gave by Minister of trade and Industry where praised the power of economic and trade relations between Japan and the Kurdistan Region and efficiencies enjoyed by Japanese companies in all vital areas ,asked the entering  of the largest number of Japanese companies into the market of Kurdistan, which they are here needed in  institutions Kurdistan to experience  this developed country, also touched on the merits of the business, based in the region and the interest of the government to construction and development of vital sectors such as industry , agriculture, trade.

Erbil : On 02/23/2014, Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , at  the Cultural and Social Center  of the Chamber ,held  a trade Forum , was attended by representatives from thirteen British company and a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and owners of commercial interests in Erbil, , Mr. Fdaedin  Gardy Secretary of Administration Board Member of the Chamber has moderated the forum and from the British side, Ms. Malozin de Shasal director of projects and government relations at the the Middle East Association was headed  the forum.

In the beginning board member of the Chamber gave a speech , who welcomed the guest delegation and wished them a pleasant stay in Erbil, stressing the role of British companies operating in the region and the importance of attracting more of them to work ineconomic sectors in Kurdistan , especially in the field of industry , agriculture and tourism as KRG interesting in these sectors , because of the experience possessed by British companies in the areas of development , and the guest had similar view and stressed that they are moving in this direction to serve the economies of the two countries .

Erbil: On 02/23/2014, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of  Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , participated in ceremonialopening of the branch of the French Total company for petroleum products and oil which are used for cars.

Mr. Philip Caius branch manager of the company has welcomed the attendees  , which was also attended by director Safen company for Trade and a number of citizens, in an interview with the Director of the branch of  the company ,he praised the developmenttaking place in Kurdistan and the large number of modern cars and the stable security situation and the possibility of doing businessin Kurdistan.

Erbil : on 22/02/2014, Mr. Fdaadin Amin  Gardi ,and Mr. Sarkawt Jamal ,the members of Board of Directors of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry, have  received  Mr. Ceter Damirchi ,President of Erbohan   Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,and his accompanying delegation ,they were visiting  Kurdistan Region for the first time to look closely at the nature of the business based in the Region  and the government-backed economic sectors ,for the preparation for entry into the market of Kurdistan .

The guest delegation  was welcomed by a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber  ,The members of the board directors of Erbil Chamber,  explained  the dimensions of the laws in force, in the Region and the sectors in which government is focusing on the implementation of, an industry - agriculture, tourism , and they expressed the readiness Chamber of Commerce to provide all the help needed to enable them to establish their  business in Kurdistan , noted that Erdohan Turkish city located in the north-east of Turkey and famous for agriculture and livestock.

Erbil : on 02.17.2014 ,In coordination with Erbil Chamber and Industry , Dubai Chamber a seminar on how to gain membership in Dubai  Chamber of Commerce and Industry,  The Seminar was attended by Mr. Rashid Al Mansouri UAE General Consul in Erbil with a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber , members of visiting delegation and representative of the President of Erbil Chamber Mr. Fdaadin Mohammed Amin, Member of the Board of directors of the Chmaber and head of the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Dohuk .

The Seminar held  at the cultural and social Center of the Chamber of Commerce and industry , at the beginning  Mr. Fidaal-Din Muhammad Amin  gave a speech in which he expressed his pleasure to holding  this seminar and wished the business family in the two Country  and progress.

Kurdistan hosts Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce Conference
Erbil: the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Kurdistan region of Iraq Announced for the 116 session of the Conference of the Arab Chambers of Commerce , Industry and Agriculture in Erbil in March of this year in the presence and broad participation of most of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Arab countries .

Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the region , said in a statement  to « AlSharq Al awsat » Newspaper ,that this conference is of great importance to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Erbil in particular; boosts confidence among Arab countries, in the stability of the region , and confirms that Arab countries want the  more convergence in the Region  and building strong economic ties with it .

And Mr.Al-Khayat  stated that coincided time of  this conference with  the start of the activities of the capital of Arab tourism in Erbil for this year , a great opportunity for businessmen and Arab investors for  acquaintance the true nature of the region and the overall climate for investment and business in the Kurdistan region of Iraq , in addition to look closely at economic experience it and share experiences between the Arab countries and the region.

The President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry , said that the scheduled date for the convening of this conference in Erbil is the 29th of March this year, where the Kurdistan Regional Government expressed its willingness to support this conference .
