SulaimanyaH :For the period of  7-8 / 6/2015 , Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat president  of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the  first economic platform of Sulaymaniyah which was held in the city of Sulaymaniyah  on the level of Iraq.

The  Sulaimaniyah governorate has organized this platform in coordination with the Ministry of State for Provincial Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs and attended by a large number of Kurdish and Iraqi figures, including  Mr. Nechirvan Barzani, prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government ,and representative of the President of the Republic of Iraq with a number of ministers of the KRG  and Baghdad, in addition to the Governors of the provinces of Iraq and the region and head of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce and several other officials and stakeholders in the economic and investment field, including Mr. Sami al-Araji, Chairman of the National Investment Board.

Speeches  have been  given  by the attendees focused all on how to promote  harmony and communication between Iraqi provinces to serve development programs through the exchange of experiences in the areas of reconstruction and investment and to work on the political, economic and cultural compatibility and job creation to reach  to the ground to an  integrated and comprehensive Economic  take shape on it , including the activation of investment to serve future generations, especially today that Iraq is going through  difficult economic conditions due to the decline in global oil prices and its negatively impact on the economic programs, and  the abnormal security situation suffered by Iraq after the barbaric and unexpected terrorism attack by Daash gangs drained the energies of Iraqi resources. Also  the need to work  and intensify joint efforts to overcome this crisis, which weighed down the shoulders of the Iraqi citizen, economically and

psychologically. -
