Erbil: On 2/11/2017, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry received Saba Vizgini the Hungarian Consulate General in Erbil. 

In a meeting, the Consul hailed the bravery role of the Peshmarga forces and his government committed to offer a free treatment to a number of the injured forces members who they got injured in the fight against ISIS. And, currently there are 50 students from Kurdistan continuing their studies in his country. 

Furthermore, the Consul asked the Chamber to offer lists of favorable goods with reasonable prices, they will intermediate to be imported from Hungary to Kurdistan. 

Vizikini said" our country is sophisticated in a number of sectors particularly the agriculture sector, food industry, having fertile land, in a manner that our current population is 10 million persons but we can provide food to 30million." 

The president of the Chamber, expressed support to the Hungary activities. Announced, that they wish a best relationship with the country, delegation exchange and further strengthening relations.

Also, he mentioned that Kurdistan has fertile land for agriculture and the Hungarian experience will be beneficial.

The president of the Chamber, hoped the Hungarian companies to hold and exhibition for the Hungarian products in an attempt to identify the Hungarian products to the people of Kurdistan. 

Mr. Baqi Muhammad Hady, Salar Jalal Fataka, Tahir Mawlud and Kamal Aziz the members of board of directors were presented in the meeting.

Erbil: On 2/11/2017, the representatives of a number of Italian companies from different sectors visited the Erbil Chamber of Commerce And Industry and received by Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of the Chamber. 

The visiting guest representatives said that they are representing 30 Brands operating in the fields of Reconstruction and furniture. They are due to start their business in the Region. 

And, they reiterated that their goods are of those of the high qualities with a suitable prices. 

Although, they offered that they are ready to broker business projects between the same sectors and businesses in Kurdistan and Italy. 

Dr. Khayat, welcomed them in the Region and said that Kurdistan is always willing to open the doors for the companies that they want to be their business destination. 

Also, mentioned that Kurdistan has a historical relationship with Italy, the Erbil Chamber has a Memorandum of understanding with Milano Chamber and Six other Chambers in Italy. 

Erbil: On 1/11/2017, Mr. Nawzad Hadi the governor of Erbil, visited the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and received by Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of the Chamber, deputies and the members of the board of directors. 

The Governor, was visited the Chamber to be further enlightened about the obstacles and halts that facing the businessmen and traders and the owner of business interests in Erbil. 

The president of the Chamber stated that" the Erbil businessmen as the siblings of the city were very responsible and proudly served the city despite the last turbulent circumstances that the region went thorough it, and it was on the very to return back to the first square. We want to stay steady by the support of the government to solve the problems." 

He emphasized that this is requiring from the government to do facilitations for the businessmen not increasing the taxes. 

Dr. Khayat said" we as the representative of the traders should reach the problems to the relevant government officials." 

Then, the members of the board talked about the most significant problems of the businessmen and the way of solution. 

Erbil: On 25/10/2017, the representative of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with a number of the unions, syndicates and associations. 

During this meeting, the representatives of those community segments asked the Iraqi government to end the escalation and tensions in Kurdistan region and the Kurdistan areas out the administration of the Region. Asking, the KRG and the Iraqi government to do their best to end the tensions. 

In the end of the meeting, the presented organizations issued a statement asked the various Arab states, regional and international parties to mediate between Erbil and Bagdad.
