Erbil: On 24th February 2021, in a ceremony attended by Hamay Hama Saed, the Minister of Culture and Youth  of Kurdistan Regional Government Omed Khoshnsw and Haval Abubalir the governors of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, Artak Apitonian The vice minister of foreign affairs of Armenia, and the Armenian ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Armenian Consul General and a number of other officials, the Armenian Consulate General opened in Erbil, and then The Armenian Cultural Centre opened on Erbil Citadel.
