Erbil: On 14-4-2013 ,Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat te president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,and Mr.Ikard Sileberg the consultat of Nursad Foundation, discussed a special German Plan for Economic development in Kurdistan .
Mr.Khayat welcomed the delegation ,hailed (G.I Z) Project which has been prepared by The Berlin Government and a number of German Companies aiming at economic development of Iraq and Kurdistan .
Mr.Ikard thanked the Chamber and said that the German project to support Iraqi Chambers got success and reached the point ,so the German government and the related departments ,thought about new and expanded project aid Iraq and Kurdistan in Economic development.
Then talked about the detail of the project and said it will start by holding an expanded conference in Erbil in attendance of German giant companies ,and the other steps will come after which is aiming at developing import and exports , importing scientific materials ,developing trade.
Erbil: On 10/4/2013 , A commercial forum of Kurdistan Region and republic of Egypt held in Erbil in attendance of governmental and private sector officials and representative from 100 companies businessmen from the sides ,
And journalists.
The forum was held ad Saad Abdulla Convention hall ,in the presence of Mr.Nawzad Hadi the governor of Erbil,Mr.Anwar Sahrati the deputy minister of industry and trade of Egypt and number of administrative members of the chamber , Mr.Fathi mala Ali ,the representative of KRG Minister of trade, Sulaiman Osman The Egypt Consul in Erbil Nawroz Mawloud representative of Kurdistan Investment Board ,a number of government and private sector representatives ,100 businessmen and investors and journalists.
Mr.Nawzad Hadi gave a speech ," Currently in Kurdistan there is a strong presence of Arab companies ,specially from Egypt which they have a good expertise in the field of industry ,which is the point of Kurdistan Regional Government ."
"The government will establish a number of industrial zones in different places in Kurdistan ,and we will benefit from the expertise of the Egyptians in this project." He added.
Mr.Sulaiman made a speech he thanked the Government and related departments in Kurdistan Region in supporting the Consulate in Erbil " Kurdistan is in a continues progress ,and the stability is a good incentive to attract foreign investment."
"We believe in friendship with Kurdistan Government and peoples ,the friendship between Kurds and Egyptians is old dating back to the era of Meds and Pharaohs."
He disclosed that " The Egypt Minister of Tourism will visit Kurdistan ,In the coming October the first Fair for Egypt products will be held in Erbil , the Egyptian companies will found a number of factories in different places in Kurdistan in a near future."
Mr .Deputy Minister of industry of Egypt talked a bout the important role of president Masoud Barzani Kurdistan Development and progress."
Mr.Fathi mala Ali talked a bout the sectors that in need of investment in Kurdistan .
