On 13 July 2010 , Mr. Dara Jalil Khayyat Chairman of the Chamber in the presence of Mr. Soran Abubakar, Vice President of the Chamber and a number of board members received a number of r of Turkish businesses representatives participating in the Third International municipalities, construction, ceramics exhibition held in Erbil during the period 12-15 July 2010. During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen trade relations between the two sides and there was talk about investment opportunities in the Kurdistan region at the present time and the role of Kurdistan Regional Government to provide necessary support and facilities for investors through the investment law which is in force in the region.
