Today, Wednesday, 4/23/2025, Kamaran Salah Bajgar, Deputy Chairman of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Rashid Mustafa Mirkhan and Salar Salah Khoshnaw, members of the Executive Council, received Dr. Anatoly Dishev, Advisor to the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Middle East and North Africa, and his accompanying delegation.
In a meeting attended by the Chamber's General Director, Advisor, and Head of Relations, discussions focused on ways to expand trade relations between Bulgaria and the Kurdistan Region.
Kamaran Salah Bajgar, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber, highlighted the longstanding economic relationship between Bulgaria and the Kurdistan Region, expressing hope that Bulgarian companies would participate more actively in international exhibitions to showcase their products.
The Deputy Chairman called on the visiting delegation to encourage companies and investors from their country to invest in the industrial, agricultural, and tourism sectors in the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing that the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry is ready to provide all necessary support and coordination.
Dr. Anatoly Dishev, Advisor to the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the purpose of his visit is to develop trade relations with the Kurdistan Region, adding that Bulgarian companies and investors are ready to enter the markets of the Kurdistan Region.
Dr. Anatoly also indicated that they will cooperate and coordinate in every way with the Bulgarian trade section in Erbil to advance this relationship.
During this meeting, holding a future meeting and establishing a trade council between both sides were also discussed.
