Chamber of Commerce and Industry , has receiveda number of Iranian trade officials , including Messrs. Hossein Shariati, vice president of development of  Iranian commercialrelation  with Kurdistan and Hirmat Farighi -head of the Office of economic relations with the region have talked about theimportance of follow-up and implementation of the resolutions of the Kurdistan- Iranian Economic Conference held some timeago under the auspices of Mr. Nechirvan Barzani in order to develop solutions to the obstacles facing the implementation ofthose economic decisions that are in the interest of the Islamic Republic and the Kurdistan region, as well as recognizing the needs of Kurdistan region of the material before business deals with business owners .

ErbilOn 30/01/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat  the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry has  received at  his officeMessrs. Christian Rites, the U.S. consul in Baghdad and Martin Healy Economic Attaché in Arbil.The parties addressed  the  ways tostrengthen economic and trade relations of  the United States and the Kurdistan region, Mr. President has expressed that  the Chamber  wants  expanding  trade relations between the two parties, Mr. Consul has disclosed  the closely visit of  specialized trade delegation to the region in addition to the establishment of two exhibitions specialized , one for oil and gas and the other for the electricity sector, andconsul pointed to that from , the beginning of February consulate in Erbil to grant entry visas to Kurdistan businessmen to United Stateswithout the need to go to the embassy in Baghdad.

Erbil:On29/01/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the chamber in the presence of Mr. Soran Abu Bakr Aziz ,deputy Chairman of the Chamber has received Mr.Hussein Mohammed Al Mahmoudi Director General of the Emirate of SharjahChamber of Commerce and Mr. Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, director of the Department of Economic Affairs in the EmirateChamber who were visiting the region to establish a permanent exhibition which displays the emirate of Sharjah'scommercial products The parties addressed ways to strengthen trade relations between the two chambers.
