Erbil:On 16.04.2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry at his office ,has received Mr. Patrick Duffy, an Irishman economist and politician who is visiting the region for the second time, carrying this time with him the idea of building a large tourist Zone in Kurdistan region, Mr. President of the Chamber has welcomed idea andexpressed his willingness to provide required help for the success of the idea and implement it on the ground, also Mr.President of the Chamber praised the progress of Ireland in the field of tourism, stressing the need to work on transfer ofexperiences of this ancient country to the Kurdistan region, the guest said that he had studied the geographical situation and economic development of the Region and sure that the Kurdistan yard suitable for such projects , after the implementationprobably will attract tourists and visitors from all over the world, not just Iraq and regional countries, Mr. President of theChamber has given many advice and wished him success.
Erbil :On , 15.4.2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat, president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry at his office ,received Mr. Kim Hyun Yong , the South Korean general consul Kurdistan Region who visited the Chamber in order to give notification that the Consulate planning to hold several activities in Erbil, requesting cooperation and coordination for the success of these events, the Consul asked cooperation of the Chamber of providing necessary facilities for Korean companies to reach the number in the region to the level of ambition ,while Korea want to contribute actively in the construction of the Region , also Mr. Consul said that the Korean Cultural Center will be opened in the next week in Erbil, and in next June will be the holding of Korean Film Festival in Erbil, as they requested Chamber s support in providing necessary facilities to enable the largest possible number of Korean companies to participate in Erbil Annual International Fair which will be held in September this year, Mr. President of the Chamber has promised to provide all the necessary facilities to attract Korean companies to invest in the Region and to fully cooperate with the consulate in all its business activities.
Erbil:On, 15-4-2013,Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,at his office a delegationfrom the Organization of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), headed by Mr. Cristiano to talkabout the importance of the development of the industrial sector in Iraq in general and Kurdistan in particular, Mr.Khayat has confirmed that Kurdistan Regional government gives great importance to the development of the industrial sector at both the public and private sectors ,as the industry-is the core of economies, Mr. President of the Chamber noted to the visiting delegation to the cooperation that they receive from KRG and its economic institutions IN order to promote this vital sector,the parties discussed on how to overcome the obstacles, the problems faced by industrialists in the region and the need for coordination to reach an integrated program of industrial development in the region.
Erbil: On , 14/04/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,at his office has received a delegation of (Expo Time LLC) Company from Turkey for talks on holding up an exhibition of real estate,construction and designs in Erbil for the period of 27-30/6/2013 .
The delegation requested of the Chamber of Commerce logistical and moral support in order to make it a success, and will be attended by 170 companies national and international, institutions will be showcasing the latest designs in the construction sector, and in the end of the meeting the head of the delegation, thanked Mr. President of the Chamber of expressing full cooperation for the success of the exhibition.
