Erbil: On 04/03/2013 Iraqi British Business Council opened  an office in Erbil, in order to expand trade and economic activities in Iraq and the Kurdistan region under the slogan of  (Together we build Iraq )

The opening ceremony was attended by Messrs. Sinan Chalabi, Minister of Trade and Industry of KRG - Hersh Muharram Mohammed Amin, head of the Kurdistan Investment  Board - Ms. Baroness Nicholson head of the Iraqi British Business Council , Dara Jalil Khayat President  of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Iyad Abdel Halim  President  of Duhok Chamber of Commerce and Industry , and a number of businessmen.

Worth mentioning that in September 2010 for the first time ,MsNechelson ,headed a grand British trade  delegation to Kurdistan as the first step toward building a sold business coopperation between Kurdistan and Britain.

Erbil Chamber of Commerce at the Social and Cultural Center of the Chamber held a reception party for the delegation of the Iraqi  British Business Council (IBBC) the reception was attended by the President of the Chamber  , members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber  and head of the delegation Ms. Nicholson in addition to a number of Kurds Businessmen and journalists, Mr. President  of the Chamber  welcomed the members of the delegation and wished them a pleasant stay in Kurdistan  hoping that this visit will be a  further step to enhance trade and economic cooperation between the Kurdistan region and Britain, which have the skills, expertise and high-tech  could benefit the region in the reconstruction process, asindicated Ms. Nicholson the head of British Business Board  indicated to  the  role Erbil Chamber of Commerce in promotingtrade and economic relations between the two parties.

Erbil: On 04/02/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry at  his office ,has received a delegation  from (GTB business) Company   from Dutch ,specialized in the field of construction ,digging irrigation canals,sewers ,electricity - transportation - electronics ,, export gas and the use of modern methods to convert cold water to hot water,  The delegation received warm welcome from  Mr. President of the Chamber also he hailed the  idea of investing  inthe region in the areas in which the company specializes in ,in  addition to the agricultural field where the region is interesting  in this sector. 

Erbil: On 04/02/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,at  his office in Erbil has received  joint delegation from Ancaffred company and Medic perkisin   the Turkish specialist in the field of providing backuptools for diesel engines, Mr. Khayat  has welcomed the Chamber delegation's visit and wished them success in promotingtrade relations between region and Turkey in the technical fields, as expressed f the Chamber's readiness to provide support and cooperation of the two companies  to serve the economics of Kurdistan and the Turkish companies, The Turkish delegation  was headed by Mr. Mustafa Kukali president of  administrative board of Ancaffred company and Mikdad  Alichairman of the Administrative board  of the other mentioned company  who expressed their thanks and appreciation towarm  reception and willingness to provide cooperation.
