Erbil :On 22-05-2013 ,MrDara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and industry ,in the presence of Mr.Salar jalal the member of the board of directors of the Chamber ,have received a commercial and organizational delegation from Armenia .

The delegation was including Mr. Onik Kirkur Babrdudi ,the head of Kurdistan-Armenia Friendship Association ,and a number of Armenian Businessmen .

Mr.Khayat stressed that the mutual  relations specially in terms of economy and trade is growing day by day , and the Chamber has its role in receiving companies and businessmen from Armenia ,providing facilities fort them  .

Then Mr.Babrdudi expressed the happiness by visiting Kurdistan Region ,wished to work to the promotion of the relations ,encouraging companies to open their branches here or establish Armenian companies in the Region.

In the end of the meeting all attended members of the delegation gave introduction about  their businesses .

Erbil : On 20.5.2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat president  of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has received Mr. President of the Kurdish - Polish Chamber of Commerce  and the  delegate of Kurdish - Polish Friendship Association in his office in Erbil .

The delegation  was welcomed by the President of the Chamber  ,praised thegrowing trade and economic relations between the Region and Poland, which he described as the inevitable result of mutual visits between the two parties, andstressed the importance of entry of  Polish fabricated goods to the Kurdistanmarket, also expressed willingness of the Chamber to extend their cooperation withthe Polish trade delegations visiting the Chamber. Then Mr. Powell SabodaPresident of the Kurdish - Polish Chamber Speaking about the evolution in the nature of trade relations between the two parties confirming that the Polish government in the process of the formation of high-level delegation to visit the region, and also noted that the a special committee of the Parliament of Poland  has been established called the Committee  of  Kurdish - Polish Friendship At the end Mr. Powell Saboda invited  Mr. President of the Chamber to visit Poland.

Erbil: On  05/20/2013Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat, President of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry , in his office has received a  delegation from  Deloitte&Touche specializing in international tourism sector including  Mr. Issa Misri the company representative in the Region and Martin Cooper representative of the company  in Dubai and Jana Wilson Wall Qatar Branch official, they were welcomed  by Mr.President of the Chamber ,and expressed its readiness to provide all means of cooperation to facilitate the entry of their company to the economic arena of Kurdistan, also noted that the Regional government to pay special attention to the tourism sector in addition to the other  developmental sectors and work to activate it after the growing of number of tourists coming to the  region, also noted that a number of tourism projects has been forwarded by the Investment Board  to local and foreign investors to proceed to implementation, at the end of the meeting, the members of the delegation, thanked Mr. President of the Chamber andhave expressed their happiness for this meeting and indicated in a speech to them that Kurdistan is a place suited to become the center of attracting tourists from all over the world, and that their company is ready to enter and participate in tourismdevelopment projects in Kurdistan.

Erbil:

On 05.16.2013 The Deputy Chairman of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr.Soran Abu Bakr Aziz and members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber  ,participated in Erbil fourth Exhibition  for investment and real estate The Exhibition was opened  in the presence of the Ministers of Trade and Industry, Construction and Housing  Mr.Sinan Chalabi and Mr.Kamaran Ahmed and the Governor of Erbil, in addition to representatives of government and economic organizations,  more than 200 local ,regional and international companies  have  been participated  in exhibition

Erbil: On 15.05.2013 Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Kanabbi  vice president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,in his office met with Mr. Claude Val Chairman of French Business  representative of the French Chambers of Commerce based in   Dubai and his accompanying delegation  , who is visiting the region to discuss the possibility that French companies having wider participation in the economic field in  Kurdistan , guest delegation was welcomed by Mr. Vice-President of the Chamber and expressed willingness of the Chamber to full cooperation with any French company would like to enter the market of Kurdistan, also gave an explanation about the economic situation growing in the Region  and the rush of foreign companies to open branches in the cities of Kurdistan to take advantage of the Investment Law No. 4 of 2013 which offers a lot of facilities and privileges to investors, in the end , Mr. Vice-President of the Chamber wished for French companies to have distinct role in trade and economic activity started in the region.

Erbil : On 05/15/2013 ,Mr. Soran Abu Bakr Aziz, the Erbil Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,at his office has received a  senior  Iranian trade delegation accompanied by Mr. Mehdi Karimi, the Iranian general consul based in Erbil , the delegation was  the participants in the Erbil Exhibition of (Real Estate and Investment) specialists in the field of real estate , production of building materials , ,Engineering Laboratories ,Private construction, agriculture and industry regulations ,significance of traffic , , electricity systems, delegation was welcomed by the Vice President of the Chamber on the occasion of their participation in the Erbil  Exhibition, which was held for the period from 16-19/5/2013 Mr.Vice president of the Chamber hailed the distinguished relations between Kurdistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran and its role in embracing Kurdish immigrants in tough days of the nation s history , also expressed his pleasure to meet with Iranian trade delegations and companies, stressed that the Chamber is ready to provide possible assistance for these delegations and companies in order to strengthen trade relations between the two parties, in turn, Mr. Mehdi Karimi thanked, Mr. Vice-President of the Chamber for the warm reception.
