Erbil : On 3.08.2015 , Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the President  of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , received in his office  Mr. George Kovadsa head of the Georgian National Tourism Department, who is visiting the region in order to open the way for Georgian  tourism and trade institutions to enter the  market of Kurdistan, especially after the resumption of direct flights between Georgia airline  and The Region , and the intention to increase the number of weekly flight s , also the guest noted  to the next stage which is to open a shopping center in Erbil to become a bridge for commercial communication between the two countries, Mr. President of the Chamber appreciated  this visit, wishing to build a strong business relationships between the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry  and its counterpart in Georgia.

Erbil : On 28.07.2015 ,Dr.Dara Jalil Khayat the President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry was recieved in his office Mr.Dlawar Ashgayyi the representative of Kurdistan Regional Government to European Union .

The Sides talked during this meeting over the consolidation of Commercial ties with the European countries. 

The KRG representative expressed his readiness to support the the Kurdistan Chambers of Commerce  to develop relations with European countries .

Mr.Ashgayyi was very optimistic about the the Kurdistan Chambers efforts to attract the attention of European Countries to come and invest in Kurdistan ,whereas  the europeans have a different vision  toward Kurdistan Region, they deem it as a green zone for investment .

The Presidents of Duhok and Sulaymanyah chambers ,and a members of board of directors of Erbil Chamber  were attended in the meeting.

Erbil :On 7.26.2015 , Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber ; was received in his office  Mr. Murr Kato Philippine Embassy in charge of affaires in Baghdad, who visited the Chamber, accompanied by Mr. Landry Bazon Political Affairs Officer at the embassy .

The sides has been talked about Philippines intention to enter the market of Kurdistan in the area of investment and tourism as well as its intention to open a trade office to facilitate business networking among the owners of the commercial interests of the two countries, and expressed his  country s desire for t to open a direct air route with the Region to achieve the benefits of the economies of the two countries . Mr. President of the Chamber welcomed the delegation and the idea and expressed its readiness to provide all possible facilities to achieve this goal.
