Erbil: On 21.1.2016 , In the context of his visit to United Kingdom , Dr.Dara Jalil Khayat the President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,visited Wolverhampton University and welcomed by the head of the university and the stuff members .

A number of companies working in the field of  IT , attended the meeting between the sides , Dr.Khayat asked the University and the British companies to support the Kurdistan Companies and hold training courses for them. 

Dr.Khayat expressed the Chamber support for any company want to participate in Kurdistan reconstruction process.  

Erbil: On 20/1/2016 : Under the patronage of IBBC , British Iraqi -British Business Council, inn collaboration with Kurdistan Chambers of Commerce ,and sponsored by Genel Energy a business forum held in London. A delegation from Kurdistan participated in the Forum was including the minister of Education ,the Minister of Higher Education and the President of Kurdistan Federation of Chambers  of Commerce .

The  Forum addressed the subjects of education, health and trade .The speakers talked  about commercial opportunities and knowledge transfer to the Kurdistan Region , also Forum hosted  Baroness  Nicholson, chief executive of the  Iraqi - British - business Council, the  envoy of the United Kingdom  for trade to Iraq.

In the Forum a several working sessions and debates about higher education, health care, business and energy in the Kurdistan region of Iraq were held . Forum was attended by thirty-five personal from Kurdistan ,they were businessmen and public officials, including the Minister of Education ,the Minister of Higher Education in addition to Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Federation of  Chambers of Commerce and Industry , in the Kurdistan Region and representatives of the British and Kurdish universities. The Ministers of Education and Higher Education talked about the obstacles in the way of Education in Kurdistan and haw can be dealt with .

The Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat  was among speakers at the forum, which shed light on the nature of the business and economic opportunities existing in  Kurdistan and the available  natural resources, stressing the importance of encouraging British companies for work and investment in the region,which  rich in natural resources a.

Mr.Angis Maki The British general counsel in Erbil ,Talked about teh importance of teh Forum ,and demanded the British companies to pay attention to do business in Kurdistan Region.
