Erbil: On 01.08.2014 , Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,in the presence of  his deputy , Mr. Soran Aziz Abu Bakr and a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber in his office  ,received Mr. Radvan Coksoz Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Gaziantep in Turkey ,and a number of members of the board of directors  of the mentioned Chamber..

The sides  talked about ways to strengthen trade relations between the two chambers and with the owners of the commercial interests of Turkey , the Turkish side, appreciated the role of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and industry in strengthening trade relations between the region and Turkey, and support for unlimited Turkish companies engaged in business in Kurdistan , , Mr. Vice-President of Gaziantep  Chamber disclosed  in this meeting the opening  an office in Erbil for the them in order to communicate with businesses and economic of Kurdistan to build better relations between the two countries , Mr. President of the Chamber promised them continued support and cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Gaziantep and Turkish companies that wish to enter the market of Kurdistan.

Erbil: On 31/12/2013 , Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,in his office in Erbil  ,has received a group of Arab journalists coming from Egypt, Algeria and Morocco ,who raised a number of questions pertaining to commercial traffic in Kurdistan region ,and the  investment situation carrying out in , Mr. President of the Chamber has answered professionally  and  according to the priority, starting saying: the Kurdistan Region now has become a commercial gateway to the whole of Federal Iraq and business opportunities are available in various fields , there are investment projects, many under construction and more of them will  come in 2014 ,in the field of infrastructure projects - Health - Education - agriculture and tourism .

As noted out how Arab and foreign companies benefit  from these opportunities in light of the Investment Law No. 4 of 2006 issued by the Kurdistan Regional Government , which gives local and foreign investors alike a lot of facilities and privileges , then touched on a number of memoranda of understanding signed between the Federation of Kurdistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kurdistan region and the three commercial chambers in the governorates of Erbil - Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk ,with their counterparts in some Arab and foreign countries , and also addressed to the Conference of Arab Chambers of Commerce , to be held in Erbil in March.

Erbil: On 24/12/2013,Mr. Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry,in his office in Erbil,has received representatives from the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank Group , headed by Mr. Sherif Hamdi , the  talk was about the nature of banking transactions taking place in the region and the obstacles facing the work and the role of international banking institutions ,and  the development solutions required, that will serve the economies of the region according to the contexts globally in place.

  Mr. President of the Chamber has pointed out to the confidence factor ,which is missing between banks and citizens and the low level of loans which is provided by banks to citizens and owners of small and medium enterprises , the of representatives of international institutions promised to study the subject and cooperation to serve the requirements of existing development in the region

Erbil On 12/24/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,in his office in Erbil ,has received Ms.Farda Jamil Pasha,the head of business women center  , who has visited the Chamber, accompanied by a number of members of the center.

The business women delegation was welcomed by the President of the Chamber ,and talked about ways to vocational cooperate between the parties in order to serve the development interests in the region through a set of proposals submitted by the head of the center ,some of them were  participating in the trade and economic meetings set up by the chamber and opening  the halls of the chamber to the center s meetings when needed , Mr. President of the Chamber promised to fully cooperate with the goals of center, asking them to prepare a memorandum of understanding or cooperation in this particular to enable the two parties to implement its articles in order to serve the economies of the region
