Erbil: On 6 Feb,2017, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry received Mr. Erick Blitter the Consultant of the trade department of The Canada embassy in Iraq and Jordan and Mr. Khidir Sihat the official of Trade department of Canada embassy. 

The sides, discussed about the mutual relations, Mr. Sihat emphasized on that the relations are in continuous ground particularly in the fields of education and trade. " We are waiting the approval of the government to open a branch of a Canadian University soon in Erbil" Mr. Sihat said. 

The delegation, stated that and exhibition for food products will be held in June this year in Canada,  they asked the Kurdistan companies to showcase their products in this exhibition. 

In the end of the meeting, Dr. Khayat hoped success for them asked the Canadian companies to participate in Erbil International Fair, and they manage to hold a private exhibition for Canadian product in Erbil. As, he expressed the Support of the Chamber to their works.
