Holding a session for discussing the role of the Private Sector in passing through current financial Crisis

Erbil: On June 24th, 2020, Under the supervision of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of the Chamber, a number of the members of the board directors of the Chamber, Dr. Aras Khoshaw the Head of the Information and Strategic Research Center, the representatives of Contractors Union and Poultry Industrialists, a number of the owner of business interests and academic, a session held to discuss the ways for passing through this financial crisis. At the outset, Dr. Khayat focused on the last conference’s four recommendations, and they addressed new ideas for recommendations. The participants decided to extend this sessions until they get perfect set of recommendations to be submitted to the government to deal with this situation smartly. Then, Dr. Aras Khoshanw, said that the Center in partnership with a number of international organisations at the level of Kurdistan and Iraq, had prepared a draft of recommendations for the government for short and mid term solutions, they are addressing Private and Public Sectors partnership. This draft also can work for the current situation. Then all the participant presented their point of views, and they appointed new date for meeting until they reach best recommendations list
