Erbil: On 07.22.2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry , at the headquarters of the Chamber  has received  a delegation from the London International Center for Training (LCT) ,which is operating in the field of business management, the  delegation expressed willingness to train institutions employees of the Kurdistan Region.

Mr. President of the Chamber during the meeting, appreciated the interest of the delegation, and  showed his desire to complete coordination between the center and the Kurdistan Regional institutions in the public and private sectors, and encourage them to involve their employees in courses will be  held by the center. And in order to build capacity of  management in these institutions through their participation in the courses of the center to suit the requirements of the citizens in the current phase of the Region.

, The  Center Director Mr. Alan Spink spoke about the nature of the work of the center and said, "We assess training sessions at the global level in the field of Business Administration of the institutions that are in need. We have arranged  so far many of these courses for a number of known institutions and companies worldwide."

According to information provided by the visiting delegation, the CNT conducting training courses in the fields of (Business Administration developed banking and remittances, to prevent fraud and corruption, the treatment after crises, human resource management, management procedures, project management, public relations, training technique of oil and gas and telecommunications) and other areas.

At the end of the meeting Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat showed the Chamber full readiness to support the work of the visiting delegation.

Erbil: On 07.16.2013,Mr. Soran Abu Bakr Aziz, Deputy president

 of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , at the headquarters of the Chamber ,received the representative of a group of Greek companies (Puzzle Construction). Their representative  have expressed their willingness to establish large-scale projects in Kurdistan.

Mr. Aziz welcomed the guest delegation, then gave  an image about prosperity of the Kurdistan region in all areas, especially in the economic sphere.

"And in the forefront of those areas came some areas have more economic importance: tourism, agriculture and industry. Because the regional  government has allocated a large part of its efforts to establish those aspects, so we need those companies which are active in these areas so that would entitle them to participate in the development of the Kurdistan region."

He explained, "To the factors  I mentioned professional Greek companies in the sectors of tourism and agriculture ,can open branches in Kurdistan, and at the same time able to put their branches as the gateway to all parts of Iraq in terms of their field."

In another aspect of the meeting, Mr. Vice President answered questions from the delegation ,gave  necessary information on the investment law and how to open branches of international companies in Kurdistan, and the Chamber was prepared to extend their cooperation and support in accordance with the laws in force in the Region.
