Erbil:On 12.07.2015, Within a ceremony held in the building of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended by Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region,and a number of board members and staff members concerned to the subject and the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,headed by Mr. Gennady Jajulia Chairman of Abkhazian the Chamber of Commerce and Industry , a memorandum of understanding signed on trade and economic cooperation between the two sides.
The Memorandum was included a number of items, including "exchange of experiences, visits and information and cooperation in the field of development of small and medium enterprises and the exchange of research and studies - organization of training programs - the exchange of trade delegations - development plans, research and participation in international exhibitions held in both countries.
As the event was included ceremonial welcoming words given by both parties called on the officials to proceed with cooperation in the areas that are the Kurdistan Region and Republic of Abkhazia characterized by them .They focused on the promotion of tourism and take advantage of the Abkhazian agricultural expertise to achieve the goals for which it was drawn up in the signed the memorandum.
Erbil:On 07/08/2015 Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , in the presence of Mr. Ibrahim Sophie first deputy of the President of the Chamber and Sadraddin Kamal member of the Board of Directors ,received in his office an Emirati delegation headed by Director of the Foreign Offices , accompanied by Mr. shwan Fattah, director of Dubai Chamber of Commerce office in Erbil, who visited the Chamber in order to exchange business information ,to promote future relations between the two sides, and to promote this initiative, the parties agreed to the holding of an economic - trade forum ,which will be held in Erbil soon to enable businessmen and business interests of the two countries of understanding and drawing a road map to cooperation to open up wider horizons to serve the economies of both countries.
