Erbil: On 11 March, 2018, in the presence of Falah Mustafa Bakir the Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of Kurdistan Regional Government, Safin Dzayi the Spokesman of the KRG, Dr. Dara Khayat the president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a number of officials and businessmen, an exhibition of the Turkish products opened in Erbil on the Ground of the Erbil International Fair. 

Worth mentioning, 100 Turkish companies which operating in the sectors of agriculture and food industry participated in the Fair. 

Erbil: On 6 March, 2018, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the presence of The deputies of the president and a number of members of board of directors, received Noua Widiuos the official of the trade department at the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil, they addressed the obstacles facing Kurdistan Economy, particularly the controversy that exists between the Kurdistan Government and the Center. 

The U.S. official emphasized that they are willing to have good relationship with the KRG, they look forward to wider participation in the Kurdistan economy, So, they will be supportive in this regard. 

Although, cited the economic crisis, the airports embargo as reluctant to not having more US investors in Kurdistan Region, indicating that the US embassy in Baghdad along with the European missions in Baghdad attempted to resolve tussles and discussed the issue with the Iraqi Prime Minister. 

Dr. Khayat, said " We are in Kurdistan Region wishing the best relations with all the countries in the World. Our relation with the US Chambers is at an excellent level, in our last visit to USA, we prepped for signing the memorandum of cooperation and exchanging delegations, hope more development via the Consulate regarding that." 

Also, he added that the Chamber has a good relationship with the US-Kurdistan Business Corp. And, they are about to hold a conference between the US and Kurdistan companies. 

Dr. Khayat, reconfirmed that the recess that occurs  in the implementation of projects mostly because of the ban on the airports and the suspended problems between the both sides, hoped the US play a mediator in resolving of those problem.
