Erbil:On 26.09.2012, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al Sofie Deputy Chairman of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry of ,has welcomed a Dutch delegation included a number of representatives of Dutch companies, The Chamber organized a commercial meeting between members of the visiting delegation with a number of representatives of local companies in the Kurdistan Region. In the beginning of the meeting and in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber Mr. Ibrahim Sofie welcomed the guest, delegation ,said: "Dutch can open a commercial office in Erbil, because it paves the opportunities for continuous meetings between the traders of the Kurdistan Region and the Netherlands." As Mr. Ibrahim spoke about areas of work that can be exploited by the Dutch ,they can export dairy products to the region or open labs, especially in this area, and stressed that the whole of Iraq will benefit from them. For his part, Mr. Richard Cronin representative Dutch (KMS ) company who headed the delegation, thanked the warm welcome they met by Vice President of the Chamber and members of its Board of Directors, said: "We are thankful for the organization of this meeting, which was organized by the Chamber, and during our stay in the Kurdistan Region we felt that business opportunities are available in the Region in addition to a stable security situation. " Members of the Dutch delegation commented on this meeting as will be the first step towards activating the commercial activity in Kurdistan. During the visit have been meetings between representatives of Dutch companies and local. Ideas and business opportunities were exchanged that can be benefited for both sides. It is worth mentioning that the companies that attended the meeting were operating within the fields of environmental cleanup and increasing electrical energy production ,the development of roads and the establishment of rail ways..
