Erbil : On 03/20/2013 ,Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Cultural and Social Center and the Chamber of Commerce held a a dinner Banquet for the the participants in the 46th Conference Session of General Union of Arab Universities, which was held in Erbil with the participation of more than two hundred and fifty presidents of the Arab and Iraqi universities, including Dr. Sultan Abu Oraebi General Secretary of the Union of Arab Universities, Dr. Ahmed Dazayyi Prime the President of Salahaddin University in addition to Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a number of members of the Board of the Chamber, also attended the Evening all of the Egyptian Consul ,Jordanian and UAE and Palestine Consuls and a number of journalists. Many of speeches were given by the attendees ,and Mr.Khayat welcomed the participants and gave a full description about the economics of the Kurdistan region and developmental ambitions for the future, especially in the field of oil and gas, which asked the audience to deliver the state of the region in the aspects of development and emerging economy to their home countries.
