Erbil: On 8/19/2015 a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Dr. Waheed Tanhaie visited the Chamber, and welcomed  by Soran Bakr Aziz, Second Deputy Chairman of the Chamber.

During the visit, the delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation for the role and help of the Chamber ,to achieve their aim in trade with the region where they started the export of animal products, especially eggs to the region ,where their was for the Chamber an active role in helping the to start business,  with the Region , and they have succeeded , because of lowering their prices and  the good quality of the eggs ,that they export to the region ,which they won the confidence of their customer . 

The head of the delegation stated that they  are going to export meat to the region soon.

For his part, the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber  thanked them for their visit to the Chamber and wished them success in their work for the benefit of their country and the Kurdistan region.

Erbil: On 08/12/2015,Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat The President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry  ,received a delegation from International Development Organization including  of Ms. Amira  Saed  the oficial of the companies department in the middle east and Mr. Zyad  Badr  the Iraq Official the organization .

In a meeting , which was attended by Ibrahim Sophie, first deputy chairman of the chamber and a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber Ms.Amira Saed indicated to  the projects that the organization has accomplished  them with the private sector in Iraq and the Kurdistan region ,and that the organization has a new plan to completion of other projects to take advantage of bank loans, given  to the fact that Organization is part of international group of banks.

The head of the delegation stated that ,the Kurdistan Region is now on the world investment map, also said that the organization is about to sign an agreement with the Erbil Chamber of Commerce for the development of cooperative projects with the private sector, to organize a trade delegation visit to Erbil, and confirmed that the organization in the new plans interested in projects that serve the environment, the exploitation of solar energy to generate electricity and are appropriate to the Kurdistan region.

For his part, President of the Chamber expressed satisfaction with the organization's interest in the completion of new projects in the region and choose the Chamber to cooperate ,since  it being a representative of the private sector.

And expressed its readiness to provide support and possible facilities  for them, to come out with the best results of what they are  planning to serve the  economic and social goals.
