Erbil: On 25/10/2017, the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry sent a delegation to the Bnaslawa and Daratu subdistricts of Erbil to bring  the Chambers aid to the families that got displaced from the Kurdistan areas a cause of the instability in their areas. 

The delegation, wax includes Baqi Muhammad Hady, Tahir Mawlud , Kamal Aziz the members of the board of directors of the Chamber and Muhammad Mustafa the director general. 

The aid, extended to 500 families, included the  necessary materials for family. 

Erbil: On 23/10/2017, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat, the president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Ms. Heather Coble the head of the economic department at the US Consulate General in Erbil, for discussing the strengthening relations. 

The meeting, was attended by the deputies a number of board of directors of the Chamber. Ms. Coble announced that they are looking for a stronger relations with the Kurdistan Region and the will support the region to have a progressed bank system and bringing into Kurdistan more US companies. 

Dr. Khayat, hoped for more solid relations between the both side while he mentioned that the sides have a good relations, and said that the Erbil Chamber is always ready to receive the US Commercial delegation. And, said that the stagnant economic situation is temporarily and will be exceeded, and all the sectors will be back on track. 

Erbil: On 17/10/2017, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with Mr. Soran Abubakir the deputy president have received a delegation of The KARITAS Check Republic organization headed by Ms. Maria Algol the head of affairs in the organization. 

The sides talked over planing to gave joint projects for youth empowerment.
