Erbil-: On10 April 2011 Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the head of the chamber in attendence of a number of administrative members and Erbil traders and businessmen ,recieved Mr.Alan Ride, the head of British investment and business board in Baghdad . Mr .Ride was visited the chamber in the end of his mission to baghdad ,in an expanded meeting in the convention hall of the chamber , he focused on (British anti Bribery law ), he said “ there was a lack in implementing this law , but after some amendments done , now the UK government is very eager to implement in a perfect way “ He continued “ the government recommended us ,to highlight on this law everywhere in the world , according this law ,the UK companies can not pay bribe to the government officials and hospitality and gifts is very limited among businessmen and government officials.” Also he focused on the importance of mutual relation between Kurdistan Region and UK.
