Erbil: On 4/10/2012, Mr.Soran Abu Bakir Aziz , the deputy vice president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry  ,was received a number of American economists, headed by Ms. Nance Benjamin who  were visiting  the region in order to provide services and advice that will develop the technical capacity of Kurdistan Region Institutions, and to meet the  Kurdish officials and stakeholders in the development of economic sectors in the Region , including agriculture, industry and tourism.

The meeting was stressing on  the importance for developing  sophisticated integrated system to serve these vital sectors in addition to the energy sector, the fact that the developmental processes in the region are still going in  traditional ways that do not save  th time in the development transactions across all sectors, including banks, Mr.Deputy Chairman of the Chamber have pointed out to the importance of this support, especially since the Region  has a high economic capabilities outside the framework of the oil and gas and has the potential of being able to progress and move forward, but it lacks the technology and  strategic plans, also noted that the the current slowdown ,caused by the large number of displaced people and the war with terrorism ,and  the financial assignments Center  Government  is stalling in settling them ,which is to be  paid in accordance with the Constitution.
